Toni Knight, originally from the East Coast, is a world- traveling, singer, song writing, harpist. She has presented her new CD "Angelica" in concerts around Hawaii, British Columbia, and the Great Northwest. Her unusual style combines Celtic, Latin and jazz with a playful twist of humor.

A performer all her life, she started on keyboard at age 3, toured Ireland playing from Galway to Dublin at age 19, returned to the U.S. to get a degree at Peabody conservatory of Music, then, directed the 60 voice Irishmen's Choral while continuing her concert circuit up and down the East Coast.

Then joining Lars Mader in Washington State, they performed as a duo for 10 years, producing their 1st album, "Instrumental" Which sold out in the first year.

From Ceile bands to four star restaurants, classical to jazz, Toni has embraced each venue adding her own esoteric style. Every song she writes is so different from the last, it is impossible to pigeonhole her in any musical category ...

Another side most often observed in the lighter concert setting, is her playful wit. Never tempt the bard, you may be roasted in song! These comic fantasies are usually born from a factual event. Her Harp-o-gram songs are commissioned pieces that range from the romantic to "roasters." Names are rarely changed to protect the innocent. She also uses humor as a teaching tool with her piano and harp students. You don't need an analyst to know that music and laughter are a recipe for happiness.
