For the beginners:

Listening to RealAudio files is alot like listening to a CD or a cassette or a vinyl record. Each of them needs its own player in order to be heard. You can't stick a vinyl record into a CD player and expect it to work... right?

So you need a RealAudio player (its called a RealPlayer) in your computer in order to listen to RealAudio files.... where do you get one you wonder? Well they are free from RealAudio. They make a free one and one that costs money. For the home user the free one works great. I have created a link to the page in RealAudio's site where you can download a free RealPlayer. When you have filled out the information: your name, the type of computer you have, etc... you click the "Download the Free Player" button and off you go. Depending on the speed of your modem this could take as long an hour or two....

Once you have downloaded a RealPlayer into your computer you are set. You only have to do this once.... you will then have a RealPlayer in your computer that is waiting for files for you to listen to and look at.. That's right you can look at video as well as listen to music with it. Experiment with it and have fun... Ready to go get your free RealPlayer...

For the more advanced users:

"I already have a RealPlayer and I still can't hear the tunes!" you scream out at your computer screen. Well... you need a newer player. The RealAudio files that are on this site have been created using the latest encoding software. You can only hear them using the latest player. And believe me, it is worth the effort to download the latest player. RealAudio has made some major advancements in sound quality and user interface. It is still a highly compressed sound but much better than 6 months ago. And as a side note: the server for the BIMA site does not have a RealAudio server so the files will not stream. You will have to wait for the entire song to download before you can listen to it. To get the latest player click here

Happy Listening Everyone!
